What we actually sell
BD Travel Homes is first and foremost a travel inspiration and guide site. All articles, destination tips, and curated stay recommendations are completely free to read. We do not sell flights, hotel bookings, tours, or any physical products directly on the site. When we occasionally offer something paid (for example a downloadable packing checklist, a detailed city map pack, or a future e-book), this refund policy applies only to those specific digital items.
General approach
We want you to be happy. If you buy something from us and it turns out to be genuinely not what you expected, we will almost always give your money back without making it weird.
Digital products purchased on the site
Any paid digital product comes with a 14-day no-questions-asked refund window starting from the moment you receive the download link. Just send one email to [email protected] with your order number or the email you used to pay, and we will process the full refund the same day or the next business day at latest. After 14 days we can still help on a case-by-case basis if something is technically broken or missing.
External bookings (hotels, treehouses, capsules, etc.)
Every time we link to a treehouse, glass igloo, capsule hotel, or houseboat, the booking happens directly on the property’s own website or on widely known booking platforms. In those cases the contract and the cancellation/refund rules are between you and that provider, not with us. We always try to highlight places with flexible cancellation policies, but we have no control over them once you leave our site.
Non-refundable situations
Automatic access to free content obviously cannot be refunded. If we ever organize a paid workshop, retreat, or group trip in the future (we don’t yet, but maybe one day), those will have separate terms clearly stated before purchase.
How to request a refund
Simply write to [email protected] from the email you used for the purchase, mention the order date or product name, and tell us you’d like a refund. That’s it. No forms, no support tickets, no “please explain in 500 words.” We usually reply within a few hours and process the money back to the original payment method within one business day.
Changes to this policy
If we ever start selling something completely different (physical goods, subscriptions, etc.), we will update this page and clearly mark the changes. Until then, it stays this simple.
